Our Story
Who We Are
Black Is… Boundless is an art collective that aims to bring exposure and provide a platform for artists to present their work with hopes of receiving funding, support, and new opportunities. Our goal is to create a safe space for emerging and established Black movement artists to thrive.

As a choreographer myself, I have found that often for emerging dance artists, particularly choreographers, the opportunities to showcase our own creations require us to “compete” with more established artists. This project presents a unique opportunity because emerging Black dance artists, which could range from a recent high school graduate to someone well into their adult life, are being given a platform to display their gift of composition.

Our Mission
Create space for Black Emerging Artists who are not established, who are underfunded, and/or have not taken the traditional route in making a name for themselves in the concert world.
Offer new opportunities for the choreographers to receive commissions, gain mentors, secure new funders, etc.
